I discovered the internet in the 90's during 8th grade year. America Online to be exact. I wonder how many of you remember dial up...

Back then, everyone used chat rooms to find and meet people. It was all about connections and I fell in love. I can't tell you how much time was spent curating the perfect profile with words only. I found myself exploring all the nuances of the digital sphere.

As an early adopter, I learned how to create websites and developed several different blogs all before blogging became a monitizing medium. LinkedIn, LiveJournal, Asian Avenue--- blew up. Then Friendster. Shortly, after MySpace and Facebook grew in popularity and everyone was online drinking up the social media Kool Aid.

In 2005 I graduated from San Diego State with a BA in Humanities and pursued a certifcation in Fashion Business & Technology. One of my teachers was a seller on Etsy. Another worked was a fashion show producer and marketing extrodinare.  Like a sponge, I absorbed as much knowledge as possible about selling and marketing online.

 

After getting laid off from my second job out of college, I set out to follow in the footsteps of various family members- building my own businesses. Combining my background in human accomplishments, I've managed to work with some extrodinary movers and shakers within the fashion, art and non-profit world.
